About Amputation
Research
A phantom limb is the sensation that an amputated or missing limb (even an organ, like the appendix) is still attached to the body and is moving appropriately with other body parts.
There are drug free pain relief alternatives.
Farabloc is an effective drug free choice, and an inexpensive alternative to conventional therapeutic measures and chemical remedies. Farabloc products are manufactured in a wide variety of flexible forms and sizes, which can be applied to virtually any affected part of the body or amputated area.
Farabloc evolved from primary research on phantom limb pain (also known as phantom limb syndrome) as a result of amputation. Now distinguished researchers in Europe and North America have demonstrated the effectiveness of this revolutionary product. Some of the research results have been indexed by the National Library of Medicine ( PMID 11882771 )
Farabloc is an easy to use, drug free alternative to the side effects of expensive and intrusive painkillers and other narcotics.
Farabloc consists of a series of ultra thin steel fibres woven into a nylon fabric, which is custom made into wraps or garments, such as socks, gloves, jackets, blankets and limb covers for the amputated area. These garments are then placed over the painful area. Irritating high frequency radiation is blocked, allowing soothing low frequency waves to pass through.
Whether you require a jacket, a sock, a sleeve, or a simple wrap to cover a limb, Farabloc’s anti-inflammatory properties provide a natural and effective answer to pain and discomfort. The duration from seeing results seems to vary from 10 minutes to a week. Every amputee seems to
have a different level or type of phantom pain.
A significant reduction in pain producing enzymes
While not a cure for chronic pain, many satisfied users testify to the soothing effect of the low frequency electromagnetic waves that flow through the Farabloc EMF filter. Clinical studies conducted by Prof G. L Bach in Germany and the UBC School of Rehabilitation Medicine in Canada, indicated significant pain relief. The UBC study also found a reduction in the level of enzymes (CPK) known to produce pain and cramping in muscles.
Other beneficial effects
The anti-inflammatory effect of the Farabloc electromagnetic shield and its positive impact on the quality of life of those who used it are among the additional benefits revealed by the Canadian study.
Farabloc products present no risk to your health. There are no side effects unless you happen to be allergic to nylon or steel.
